The fingerprint can be activated to increase the security and privacy of your phone through the following steps

  • Open settings
  • Open Touch ID & passcode.
  • Click on Add a fingerprint and enter a 4-digit secret code first.
  • Put your finger on the home button without pressure more than once.
  • Press continue

  • Add a new fingerprint

How to distinguish a fingerprint

  • Open settings
  • Click on the TouchID & Passcode.
  • Click on Add a fingerprint and enter a 4-digit secret code first.
  • Click on Finger, the fingerprint you want to rename
  • Type a new name
  • Click the Done.

Return step 4-6 until you make sure the fingerprint is already marked.

After the task is completed, you must try to open your phone with your fingerprint, first confirm that all properties have been activated, then close your phone, and try to open it with a fingerprint.

How to delete a finger fingerprint

  • Run the settings from the device defined with the Touch ID.
  • Scroll down and click on the Touch ID & Passcode.
  • Type the passcode
  • Click on the fingerprint you want to remove
  • Click Delete Fingerprint.
