The new payment system from Apple Pay was unveiled by Apple in conjunction with the official announcement of its new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The new Apple Pay service, which enables users to pay in stores by their phones, rather than using credit cards.
Which devices are compatible with the service?
Apple Pay is available in new phones from iPhone due to the addition of their NFC, which is the basic technology of the service with the fingerprint sensor found on both devices. Apple also revealed that it will be available across its new clock

Apple Pay service basically comes with iOS 8.1 update so if you want to use the service, you must update to the latest version of iOS 8.1 and above
Apple Pay works with Visa MasterCard, American Express and Apple has partnered with a large number of American banks to support the service including Barclays, Capital One and other banks, many banks have joined the partnership since the service was announced.
When you ask the Passbook application to download your credit card in the Apple pay payment service, the application will turn on the phone camera and ask you to pick up picture of your credit card then Apple is communicating with the bank in order to verify that this card is your own and after you make sure that you have a card. Credit in the Passbook application when you want to use it you can only press it.
Is this service safe?
At a conference, Apple announced that when you enter a credit number, Apple will not store it on any of its servers, just inside your phone, and the Passbook application does not display your credit card number only the Apple service performs a number for your account that is stored on the SEC lock chip Ure Element each time you use the Apple Pay service to pay, Apple sends the payment number and the security token, both of which are encrypted to the bank to complete the payment process.
How to activate the Apple Pay online payment service
- Open your phone and find passbook and Apple Pay
- Pressing the Apple Pay Setup
- Press add a new credit/Debit Card
- Fill in your data
- Press the camera button next to the credit card number to photograph it instead of typing the number
- Tap Agree to Terms and Conditions
