Paranoid Android ROM

The popular ROM Paranoid Android, finally available.

Paranoid Android is back in 2017 with a custom ROM based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Developers announce a fluid experience and better quality photos than the manufacturer for OnePlus 3 and 3T.

The Paranoid Android has been long – with the dead CyanogenMod, the most popular Android version. By 2015, development has been stopped, but today the ROM has finally made its comeback. The latest version is based on Android 7.1.2 and available for Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X and OnePlus 3 & 3T.

Developers test their software by adding older devices such as OnePlus 2 OnePlus One, OnePlus X, Nexus 5 and Nextbit Robin. Once the versions are stable enough, they can be downloaded. In the near future, support will be extended so that devices officially receive the Android nougat, still have access to this version.

Unique to Paranoid Android Pie controls, which replace the traditional Android buttons with a circular menu that evokes a blow of ice. This saves space. In addition, the ROM is called Color Engine, which allows you to quickly customize the theme and colors of the interface.

There are also practical ways to access specific applications and functions with sliding gestures. Paranoid Android also supports the features to quickly start the camera (twice by pressing the power button), your smartphone to wake you up (press to wake up) and notifications to check if you choose it.

Others should follow fairly quickly, including OnePlus One, OnePlus X, Nexus 5, OnePlus 2 and Nextbit Robin. The names of the next supported devices will be announced “soon”.
