How to Install TWRP and Root Moto One Power

In this tutorial, we show you How to Install TWRP and Root Moto One Power, This manipulation should work on all versions of Motorola devices, remember that this step will wipe everything off the phone, take a Backup of the messages, contacts, photos and all the important files that you don’t want to lose.

Motorola Moto One Power was launched in August 2018. The phone powered by Octa-core 1.8 GHz Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636, and it comes with 3/4/6 GB RAM and 32/64 GB ROM, up to 256 GB via a microSD, Moto One Power come with Primary camera Dual: 16 MP + 5 MP and 12 MP in front, and powered by Non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery.

Before you begin, it is important to have all the tools at hand. you will need:


ENABLE USB DEBUGGING 

1. Go to SettingsAbout phone
2. Find the Build number and press 8 times on it:

3. Return to the previous screen. You will see that a line has appeared: “Developers Options
4. Press and check “USB Debugging” &  “OEM unlocking

Install TWRP Recovery on your Moto One Power

1- Restart your Moto One Power in Fastboot mode:

  • Turn off your Motorola Mobile.
  • Press “Volume Down button + Power button ” until the menu appears.
  • Then, connect your mobile to your computer via the USB cable.

2- Open the folder where ADB and Fastboot are located on your computer and Copy the TWRP Recovery file on the ADB folder

3- In an empty area, hold down the shift key and right-click with the mouse, the context menu will contain an entry Open command window here

 4- Verify that the phone is recognized in Fastboot mode: Type in the command: “fastboot devices

5- Flash the recovery TWRP: Type “fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
6-  reboot the phone in normal mode: Type “fastboot reboot”.

7- You have successfully Flashed TWRP in your Moto One Power.


Root Moto One Power Via SuperSU

1 – Copy the UPDATE-SuperSU.Zip file on your internal storage or SD card.

2- Restart your Moto One Power in Fastboot mode:

  • Turn off your Motorola Mobile.
  • Press “Volume Down button + Power button ” until the menu appears.
  • Use Volume buttons to navigate & choose Recovery mode, then press the Power button to confirm.

3- Install and flash  SuperSU :

  • Tab on”Install” and then choose “UPDATE-SuperSU.Zip
  • Press the return key
  • Just press “Reboot” to restart the phone in normal mode.

4 – Now Download & install the apk file  SuperUser

5- Restart your device.

6- Now you have successfully rooted your Moto One Power.

If you want to unroot your Xiaomi device: open SuperSu app click on Full unroot.


Root Moto One Power Via Magisk

1 – Copy the Magisk.zip file on your internal storage or SD card.

2- Restart your Moto One Power in Fastboot mode:

  • Turn off your Motorola Mobile.
  • Press “Volume Down button + Power button ” until the menu appears.
  • Use Volume buttons to navigate & choose Recovery mode, then press the Power button to confirm.

3- Install and flash Magisk:

  • Choose “Install” in the TWRP recovery and then choose “Magisk.zip
  • Press the return key
  • Just press “Reboot” to restart the phone in normal mode.

4 – Now Download & install the apk file “MagiskManager.apk”

5- Restart your device.

6- Now you have successfully rooted your Moto One Power.
