First method:  Hard Reset HTC U11

  1. Press the power key to switch off the device.
  2. Press and hold the power key and volume button together.
  3. Select reboot bootloader by the volume keys and confirm with the power button.
  4. Select boot to recovery mode by volume down key and confirm by using the power button.
  5. When the device shows an exclamation point on the screen, press immediately the power key.
  6. At the time when you hold down the power key, press the volume up key.
  7. The next step from recovery mode menu.
  8. Use Volume buttons to select wipe data/factory reset 
  9. Then select yes delete all user data
  10. To restart the phone. select “reboot system now”.

Second method: HTC U11 Factory Reset

  1. Press the main Menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Tap Backup and Reset.
  4. Select Factory Data Reset.
  5. Check Reset phone if you would like to erase all the data on the phone internal storage.
  6. Tap Erase Everything.
