You can stay in touch with your friends with the Battle.net app, see what they’re playing and add new contacts to your list. An additional advantage is that you can generate a QR code, which someone else can scan to add. For example, you do not have to explain your complex game name to a stranger who wants to play for example Hearthstone.

Battle.net is not the first app Blizzard publishes. Previously, the company already sent the Authenticator app to Android, allowing you to set up two-step verification. This feature is not in the Battle.net app, which means that you will still need the Authenticator to log in. It is not unthinkable that Blizzard will eventually merge these apps.

At the link below you can download Battle.net for free from the Play Store. The app runs on Android 5.0 or higher smartphones and requires about 12MB of storage.
